Our Scetches

1. Ghar Ghar Ni Ramayan    
  A child overly spoiled by his mother goes to school but doesn't study. His mother is a typical Indian mother, but his father is an overconfident in every way. Consequently there are conflicts between all characters.
2. Shayri / Stand up    
  Harendra Kotecha steps on stage and performs his marvellous standup comedy routine with a touch of Shayri (poetry).
3. Andhre Behru Kute    
  A very reliable and honest servant has statrted to have hearing problems although he doesn't admit to it. Most of the time he doesn't hear something he guesses the meaning instead of asking again. This of course causes a lot of confusion.
4. Fashionable Prem (Dance)    
  A fashionable village girl doesn't want to marry a village boy, but dreams of marring a modern rich city man which can fulfill her fasionable ambitions.
5. Jamano Badlayo Che Kharo?    
  The age old Indian tradition dictates that the boy goes to the girls house to find and select a partner for him. But here the roles have been reversed and the woman visits the mans house to find and select a suitable marriage partner. Has time really changed?
6. Gadbad Gotala    
  A very typical elderly Gujarati couple, where the lady doesn't understand english at all, and the man pretends to understand english very well, although he doesn't. An english neighbor visits their house on invitation. The Gujarati man misunderstands everything he says and creates even greater misunderstanding for his wife.
7. Lagne Lagne Kunvaro    
  A domestic servant has great dreams of getting married. He gets along with his master, but the master's son doesn't like him and tries to stand in his way. But the servant asks the son to help him find a lady and the son hurriedly agrees and says he find someone. When a girl shows up at the house the servant mistakenly thinks that this is his future wife.
8. Samjan ni Chamal    
  A typical Gujarati couple's daughter is married to an English man. Due to work she has to go out of town for a couple of days and she leaves her husband with her parents. The man and the parents try to bridge the communication gap with many disastrous misunderstandings.
9. Dhatudi Patudi (dance)    
  A village girl goes to her father to tell him that she likes a boy and wants her father's permission. She is very excited and to get her fater to like him she tells him that he is tall and handsome, basically not exactly the truth. Her father flatly refuses to consider the boy for his daughter to marry. The couple meets in secret to discuss the issue.
10. Paiso Paiso ne Paiso (dance)    
  An Indian village girl comes to England and she changes. She wants her husband to earn money all the time so she can fulfill her wishes. When her husband comes home early she doesn't like that and tells him to go back to work and earn money. She wants money all the time and doesn't know that she might loose her relationships.
11. M.P. Sir    
  A Gujarati man, who has just come from India and only knows Gujarati language, applies for a job in England. The job interview is with an English man. A lot of interesting communication results.
